And among the 17 films recommended by the former American president are two French productions: “Petite Maman” by Céline Sciamma.

And “The Event” by Audrey Diwan.

The latter did not fail to react on social networks when she discovered that her film, which received the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2021, appeared on this prestigious list shared by Barack Obama with his most 35.5 million subscribers.

Among the other films cited by the former American president, we note the presence of “The Fabelmans” by Steven Spielberg, the science fiction film “Everything everywhere all at once”, and the essential “Top Gun: Maverick”.
