Brian Johnson, lead singerAC DCcannot talk about the band’s future plans.
That’s indeed what he hinted during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk (as reported Blabbermouth).
When asked if he and his bandmates were going to perform live again, he replied: “I will not answer this question. Why would I? First of all, there are five members in this group, and asking only one member is not fair.”
When Eddie Trunk asked him if he would personally like to play with AC/DC again, Johnson replied: “Eddie, I can’t answer that question. Everyone told me not to. This is the official line.”
When asked about a possible sequel to the Power Up album, Johnson said: “It’s starting to feel tabloid there. If I say something, it’s going to be blown out of proportion. We can’t afford to talk these days. There is too much chatter on the internet. And I’m not on any type of social media – never have been. There is only gossip about it.”
AC/DC’s comeback album Power Up was released in November 2020.
Brian Johnson’s memoir, The Lives of Brian, was released last October.
