Like the Quebec singer, the politician is a native of Charlemagne, in Lanaudière.

“I had a twinge in my heart. Celine is Celine. I grew up opposite his childhood home, personally it touches me a lot to hear this news. This is news that is not pleasant to hear,” the minister told the National Assembly on Thursday morning.

The success of the Quebec diva “shows us that when you want to do great things, you are able to do it”.

“Of course we welcome this news, which is not very encouraging […] And when it affects Céline, I think it’s even worse. But we wish her that it goes well and we hope that she will come back to us in good shape, ”he said.

Recall that Celine Dion confided in a video Thursday morning on the disease which has upset her life at different levels for several months already.
