charity book market in Cessange
The income from this event, organized by Cessange associations, will be donated to international projects related to children’s access to education.
In Luxembourg, Cessange associations will organize a second-hand book market on the weekend of January 28 and 29, from which funds will be donated to social structures and associations. At the Cessanga Cultural Center casual readers and book lovers can discover a selection of pocket books, travel guides and novels in several languages at affordable prices.
The income from the market will finance several international projects related to children’s access to education. For example, the Cessange associations work closely with the Luxembourg branch of the Jesuit Refugee Service, which was inaugurated on October 8, 2020 and whose priority is the integration of refugee minors and young adults, especially through literacy courses. The International Children’s Aid Association and the ANKAA project are also part of the solidarity network of Cessange associations.
Saturday, January 28 from 2 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, January 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cessange Cultural Center, 1, rue Saint-Joseph.
