Deadpool: TJ Miller accuses Ryan Reynolds of ‘strange’ behavior on set

TJ Miller doesn’t want to work with Ryan Reynolds again.

In a recent podcast appearance The Adam Carolla Showthe actor and comedian has revealed he wouldn’t have considered reprising the role of Weasel in Dead Pool 3. When asked why, he explained that he had a “strange” experience filming a scene with Ryan Reynolds during the making of the 2016 superhero movie.

“Would I work with him again? No. I wish him good luck, because he is excellent in dead Pooland I think it’s weird that he hates me,” he said, before recalling the awkward exchange.

“We had a really weird moment on dead Poolreally weird, where he said, “Let’s do one more take.” And then, playing his character, he was, like, horribly mean to me. But towards me. Like I was Weasel. He was, like, “You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you just do enough to make it funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”

He claimed that he and the team felt uncomfortable. “He did that and it was weird, and it didn’t bother me… I just listened and thought it was weird, and then I walked off the stage because they says, ‘Cut?'” added the 41-year-old actor. “Everyone was there, thinking, ‘What the fuck is he doing?’ So it was not a great experience for me. Why did he do that?”

TJ Miller described Ryan Reynolds as ‘kind of an insecure guy,’ and said he didn’t really want to star in another movie dead Pool in any event.

“I wouldn’t have done Dead Pool 3 if they had come to me and said, ‘We want you to do Dead Pool 3and we will pay you double,” he added. I think he should do a Dead Pool 3 and continue to make films. I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird the way he expressed that. I’m at a time in my life where I don’t need to do Dead Pool 3.”

Miller has been focusing primarily on his comedy shows for the past few years. The actor was arrested in 2016 in Los Angeles for assaulting an Uber driver following a political debate. In 2017, allegations of sexual assault surfaced during the #MeToo movement. In 2018, a former colleague of Miller, Alice Wetterlund, from the series Silicon Valleyaccused the actor of being inappropriate and having unprofessional behavior on set.

Ryan Reynolds has yet to respond to the actor’s comments.

Dead Pool 3 is in production. It was recently confirmed that Hugh Jackman will appear as Wolverine.
