The news will not please the most faithful of the Saturday evening program of M6. Series NCIS: Los Angeles will end at the end of its fourteenth season. The series finale airs Sunday, May 14 on CBS.

End of the series NCIS: Los Angeles. This Friday, January 20, the channel SCS announced that the series would not be renewed for an additional season.

In a statement, Amy Reisenbach, President of CBS Entertainment, said, “We are so grateful for the collaboration and outstanding performance of these valued members of our family. SCSand we plan to give them the grand finale they and their fans deserve.” The series finale airs Sunday, May 14 on SCS.

A “worthy” end to the series

Upon breaking the news, series director R. Scott Gemmill wanted to thank “the network and the studio for their partnership and support over the years,” as well as producer Shane Brennan “for giving us a such a beautiful playground” and its team of writers “for their tireless efforts and collaboration episode after episode.” Before adding: “We look forward to delivering an end to the series that is worthy of these beloved characters.” The stars of the show also reacted to the news, including actors LL Cool J and Caleb Castille, who play agents Sam Hanna and Devin Roundtree respectively.

In France, the series has been broadcast since 2010, on Saturday evenings, on M6. But with a two-season lag compared to the United States, French viewers will be able to enjoy a few months of respite before discovering the grand finale. Season 12 has still not aired.
