ÉTANG-SUR-ARROUX: Bookcase at Velet High School of Nature and Forestry
Do not forget that the book box is first and foremost a place of exchange. The principle is simple, if you liked reading the book and if you want others to benefit from it; all you have to do is throw this book in the bookcase. In return, you are free to take a book that interests you.
For information, student Vincent TRUPIANO assisted Jean Baptiste BOUGON, a maintenance agent within the institution who participated in the creation of this new “furniture”.
It should be noted that our “masters” made their work from an old wardrobe, the legs of which were cut off and a board was added, creating a second floor. There, a frame was placed to support the roof made of recycled material. So much for technical details.
As for the principle of this “book box”, the stored works must be in good condition and accessible to everyone. Its use offers real operational flexibility in terms of costs, as borrowing books is completely free and no contribution is required.
After all, it is also and above all an opportunity to open up to reading.
