“He abused the position given to him”

Aaron Evans, bassist and backing vocalist Like butterflies in flameswas kicked out of the group following allegations of sexual abuse.

Allegations and screenshots began circulating earlier this week when a Twitter user posted a lengthy description of abuse and manipulation (which you can see below).

Evans had been with the band since 2010. He’s been on every Like Moths To Flames release to date.

At this time, Evans has not commented on the situation. However, his (former) bandmates released the following statement: “Effective immediately, Aaron is no longer part of Like Moths To Flames. Over the past few days, we have been made aware of numerous instances where he has abused the position given to him within the group.”

“Our private messengers are open if fans/friends want to contact us to talk about it.”

Effective immediately, Aaron will no longer be in Like Moths to Flames. Over the past few days, we have been made aware of numerous instances where he has abused the platform given to him within the group.
