Hydroxychloroquine: How the study presented by Didier Raoult was distorted… The explosive revelations of Complément d’Enquête

France 2’s second part of the evening program announces revelations about Professor Raoult’s IHU which are already having the effect of a bomb.

Definitely, since the start of the school year in September, Thursday evenings on France 2 have been in the news. After the “influvoleurs” or the dubious providers of the Blues, the issue of this Thursday, November 17 devoted to “Didier Raoult, the fuzzy savan” promises explosive revelations.

“People love me”

Didier #Raoult ensures to #ComplementDenquete that the JDD would not put its name in the ranking of the favorite personalities of the French so as not to hurt the journalists

The Marseille professor from the IHU Méditerranée was, from the start of the Covid-19 crisis, one of the defenders of a treatment based on hydroxychloroquine which was quickly criticized. Professor Raoult relied on a study commissioned from his teams to affirm that hydroxychloroquine was the answer to Covid-19. What no other study published in the world since has confirmed.

Based on unpublished documents, Complément d’Enquête proposes to demonstrate, this Thursday, that this study was based in part on erroneous or poorly transcribed data.

“What matters is that people talk about me”

According to Complément d’Enquête, the data of at least four patients out of 16 were incorrectly reported in the final study, distorting the result. Error or manipulation? The show advances testimonials that argue for the second option. Faced with the evidence, Professor Raoult would have said to his teams: “We don’t care. What matters is that we talk about me”.

“-M. Raoult, these results are not good. We don’t have the controls, we don’t have the evidence. We can’t post that…
-We do not care. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that people talk about me! »

The show also asked scientists to redo the study based on real data and unsurprisingly, the latter cannot conclude on the effectiveness of the treatment. André Gillibert, biostatitian from the Rouen University Hospital, does not exclude the possibility of fraud and believes that the manipulations are “sufficiently worrying to justify an investigation”.

A pro-Raoult front on social networks

Since Complément d’Enquête unveiled excerpts from the show this Thursday evening, there has been a surge on social networks. The pro-Raoult front is in the lurch. Tristan Waleckx has also published a sample of the messages or responses posted by the supporters of Professor Raoult.

In response to questions on the subject, the presenter indicated that Complément d’Enquête was investigating “everything and everyone”. “And an investigation into Pfizer is of course being filmed and will be released soon.”

Barring a last-minute surprise, Professor Raoult will not come to comment on the investigation into the show’s red armchairs. According to the show, “from the moment Didier Raoult learned that Complément d’Enquête had retrieved an internal file proving that the data from his study on hydroxychloroquine had been falsified in March 2020, all our interview requests were goes ‘pschitt, pschitt, pschitt'”.
