Italian police deliver two Lamborghini Huracan kidneys

Two patients who were hundreds of kilometers apart managed to give birth in record time.

In 2017, the Italian police received a Lamborghini Huracan. Unlike the French ERI car, the supercar has two functions. It is used by the police to search for speeders, but it is also used for emergency interventions such as transporting organs.

With its V10, the Lamborghini Huracan is capable of driving at indescribable speeds and reaching a top speed of over 300 km/h. The police have already used it in the past to carry out missions, and continues to fulfill her role as she did on Tuesday, December 20, when she delivered two kidneys in record time to two patients hundreds of kilometers apart.

The State Police writes on its Facebook page: “Crossing the highway to bring the greatest Christmas gift: life. Thanks to the special Santa Claus of the State Police, two people received a kidney. The organs were delivered by Stradale police officers who delivered two kidneys in a Lamborghini Huracan to hospitals in Modena and Rome.”.

The Italian supercar set off from Padua in northeastern Italy to deliver the first kidney to a hospital in Modena, 170 km away. The second kidney was delivered to Rome, a city more than 400 km away.

Please note that the Italian police have two Lamborghinis.
