Lorenzo cuts his album into 68 pieces to boost his streaming sales, we explain
Lorenzo released his new album Living legend this Friday, and on the platforms, the project is cut into 68 pieces.
“I wasn’t going to leave without making a last splash anyway”he smiled. After a long period of teasing, Lorenzo finally released Living legendhis new and latest project. And in addition to the hundred physical editions imagined for the promotion of the albumthe artist has ventured into an eccentric experience on streaming platforms. Moreover, all the titles of the opus are divided into several parts, from two to six. One way, according to Lorenzo, of “break the music industry”.
Lorenzo: “It’s more streams, so more sales”
He explains : “Music streaming platforms, what they do is that they count a stream from the moment you listen to 31 seconds of the same song. So me, for my new album which came out just today, I took care to cut all my sounds into several parts, taking care that it was longer than 31 seconds.. Thus, each listening to a song will generate five streams instead of just one. Lorenzo should therefore multiply his figures at the time of his first week.

The sixteen titles that make up the project now form 68: “It’s more streams, so more sales, and all that while respecting the rules of Snep”. However, to capitalize on some playlisting, the rapper slipped his three singles at the end of his project as well as the featuring with Heuss l’Enfoiré, “Dans l’appart'”, in full version, to capitalize on his guest. The project takes the form of a hell of a shambles that seeks above all, and in an assumed way, to multiply the sales of Living legend. Waiting, Lorenzo explained why he was stopping his career.
