Olivier (Air cushion) looks back on his unsuccessful stint in Who wants to be my partner?
After a turbulent period, Olivier, the creator of the Ebidis company and the Air Cushion product, did not find any investors. He gives us his feelings.
He didn’t know the program before watching it and “fall asleep in front”, Olivier from Cushion d’air had the idea of inventing a powder to create a small “cloud” avoiding noises and odors when going to the toilet. An invention to say the least astonishing, which he therefore presented this Wednesday evening in Who wants to be my partner?the broadcast of M6 featuring entrepreneurs facing investors.
Who wants to be my partner? : Olivier (Air cushion) did not want “get into the little pee-poo game”
If he already knew Anthony Bourbon, whom he had had the opportunity to meet a few months earlierthe other investors were completely unknown to him. Nevertheless, it is with a heart full of hope that he threw himself into the deep end in order to pitch his project. But fate unfortunately did not knock on the door of Olivier, who was unable to answer certain key questions about his business: “I didn’t want to get into the little game of laughter and wee-poo”, he tells exclusively to Tele-Leisure, “because around me, there are people for whom it is a real subject”. However, and despite the skepticism around his project, the entrepreneur, banker in real life, does not admit defeat, nor bitter: “I don’t blame them at all”before castigating the need to “valuation” who, according to him, has no “no Sens” on something “that does not exist”.

“For me, a business is an adventure, it’s a bet”
In fact, he explains that “all his life” he has “fought the business plan” : “For me, a business is an adventure, it’s a bet, you don’t know what can happen.” In the case of Air Cushion, however, we know that he did not find any investors following his time on the show, even though he knew Anthony Bourbon: “I would have liked him to participate, or Jean-Pierre Nadir, or even Isabèle Chevalierfor me, it was the most open (…) what I wanted was to rely on the bet, and not on a valuation because in reality, if you are reasonable about the type of product, the risk is relatively low in relation to the number of people concerned by the subject.”
