Release of the album “Balle de match” by JB Mpiana: “we worked like bulls so that he didn’t even have a single hair in the sauce”

The director of marketing and communication of the group Bon Chic Bon Genre (BCBG), Roger Ngandu, informed ACTUALITE.CD that the new album by JB Mpiana called “Match ball” will be available from this Saturday, December 24 . This is a new discographic repertoire in which musicians from his Wenge Musica BCBG orchestra have taken part.

“JB Mpiana is still alive, he has songs, he has a head that works, he has a beautiful voice, it’s not his last album. This album belongs to the band, that’s why it contains several songs. He put in a few songs to make the album tough,” BCBG marketing director Roger Ngandu told us.

It is after 11 years that one of the greatest orchestras of Congolese music returns to the record market with a new album. It contains 22 purely rumba-style songs. “Match Ball” which has been long awaited by music lovers will finally see the light of day.

“On December 24, the opuses will already be on the record market, it’s confirmed. There, we are making clips for the promotion, that is to say that everything is ok. Fanatics, music lovers of good Papa Cherished music will not be disappointed,” added the marketing director.

The album is rich in color, according to Roger Ngandu, who also insisted on the identity of Congolese music.

“We didn’t play Michael Jackson’s music, we kept our identity, which is rumba. We autographed people and compared to the credits, we danced, we worked hard so that the public would not be disappointed. We really worked like bulls so that he didn’t even have a single hair in the sauce, we went above and beyond, we gave the maximum of what we could, ”he added.

Mr. Ngandu also returned to the preparations for this new album, the eighth in the series for JB Mpiana.

“We never set a date for the release of our opus, it’s the first time we’ve just done it because we were convinced that the work was finished. There was no blockage either, we were working. There were problems but it’s an internal kitchen, the main thing is that the extremists of good music were patient, and finally we will present them with work worthy of its name, ”clarified Roger Ngandu.

“Match Ball” will be released in two parts. The first for this December 24, and the second will take place on February 14, 2023.
