Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante talks about her favorite Ghost song: “It’s a master class”
It is undeniable that Phantom has come a long way since the birth of the group, having gathered a large community of fans, including multiple musicians.
Courtney LaPlante, singer of spirit boxwho has opened for many Ghost shows this year in the United States, is one of those fans.
Recently, Revolver asked him what his favorite Ghost song was and why.
The singer chose Spillways from Impera, the latest album, explaining: “It’s a master class in composition. The progression and key changes are so interesting to me, and the guitar riffs are huge. There is something hopeful and tragic at the same time. It was a very beautiful moment of their set that I looked forward to seeing every night [pendant notre tournée commune en 2022].”
Spiritbox released their long-awaited debut album, Eternal Blue, last year.
In June this year, the band released a surprise new EP titled Rotoscope, consisting of three songs.
