Whoever says the return of the Passeurs de Livres festival, says the return of the book and comics fair in the heart of the city of Alès. “This large outdoor symposium, open to everyone, will gather about sixty publishers and about 120 authors in the lobby of the Krater”, explains Frank Belloir, general director of the festival. Novels, comics, biographies, historical accounts, science fiction, … All styles will be represented, and there will still be many tributes. Three Alesian bookstores will once again support the event. “The youngest, due to open in the spring in Génolhac, freshly honored with the public prize of the Alès Audace competition, will also be invited to participate”continues Claude Savy.
The audience will also be able to take advantage of forty conferences within the framework of this humanities festival. “We are voluntarily reducing the number of these meetings for this second edition, so that the public can benefit more from them.”, emphasizes Claude Savy. The formula will not change: “Each conference will focus on the theme of the festival and will be led by an expert and an author. The goal is always to popularize the humanities and be accessible to as many people as possible..
