The Medieval Tonnerre, Saturday and Sunday
Les Médiévales de Tonnerre are back after four years of absence. The streets of Tonnerre promise to be crowded all weekend. Starting with the alleys of the medieval market, bringing together around sixty exhibitors, or even near the troops who will put on a show. Costumes will even be available to visitors. On the program, chivalry tournament, medieval music, parade, catapult candy throwing, shows, stilt walkers, children’s games, craftsmen…
Quarré-les-Tombes Book Fair
Discover and meet authors from the region, highlight them and create links between them but also with the readers of the territory. This is the whole objective of the second Book Fair of the Arts et Créations en Morvan association scheduled for this Sunday at the Espace Jean-Legros (multipurpose room) in Quarré-les-Tombes. About forty authors will be on display there on Sunday, September 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Pruning and walk in Sens
As part of Tree Week, Saturday September 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., pruning sequence by a tree pruner, from the Corberon-Environnement company at Jean-Cousin Square. At 3 p.m., show “Like a tree” by the company L’Arbre à musiques at the theatre. Sunday 11, at 9 am, free discovery hike “The tree in its natural environment: discovery of the forest” of about 5 km with elevation gain. Meet in the parking lot of the Malay-le-Grand village hall, offered by the Department of Ecological and Energy Transition and Active Mobility. Provide suitable clothing and shoes, and water. Music around Beethoven, in Vézelay
The association Musique et montagne, based in Vézelay (12, route de l’étang), will celebrate its 25th anniversary this weekend with two concerts centered in particular on the figure of Beethoven. On the program of L’heure musicale du 12: Saturday September 10, at 3 p.m., “Hey, dad, what’s a piano?” ; at 8 p.m., recital by Pierre-Alain Volondat. Sunday 11 September, at 4 p.m., presentation of the concert “All about Ludwig Van Beethoven”; at 5 p.m., Trios by Beethoven. Auxerre Associations Forum
One hundred and fifty-three structures and more than three hundred volunteers carry the second forum of associations of Auxerre, this Saturday September 10, 2022, at the Saint-Germain abbey. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., everyone is grouped together in three villages: solidarity, culture and sport. Between the search for activities and demonstrations on the forecourt, the people of Auxerre, young and old, will be able to get an idea of the season and the local associative landscape. A show in the mysterious forest of Tannerre-en-Puisaye
Saturday September 10, from 7 p.m., last immersive evening in the forest with “Our life in the forests” by Marie Darrieussecq (from 15 years old) in the wood of the antique ferrier. In a future on our doorstep, a refugee woman with other “disappeared” in the forest writes her diary and tries to piece together the puzzle of what led her there. The newspaper is read.
