In Saint-Priest, in the Rhône, human remains were found in pipes. A man from the neighborhood told BFMT TV that he was traumatized by this discovery.
Tuesday, January 17, human remains were discovered by a plumbing company in the pipes of a building in Saint-Priest (Rhône).
The 17-year-old victim has been identified and a 28-year-old man suspected of his murder has been taken into custody. BFM TV managed to get in touch with Aldo, the neighbor of the alleged murderer, one of the last people to have seen him. The man says to himself “traumatized” by events.
Tuesday evening, he is at his mother-in-law’s, who is experiencing major problems with the sewage system. He then decides to go and question his neighbor. “I asked him if his toilet was blocked, he replied that it was not. Then I asked him if he was doing work, he replied ‘no’ before saying, a few seconds later : ‘yes, a little bit'”says Aldo. Which also explains that the suspect was calm and that no particular smell escaped from his home.
A horror scene
No longer worried at the time, Aldo decides to call on plumbers. The latter then find clothes and pieces of flesh in the pipes. “The plumber showed me pictures of clothes. Frankly, these are images that I do not recommend to anyone. We are really traumatized”he whispers to the chain.
The suspect, arrested on Wednesday, has been under psychiatric care for several years. His condition is still considered compatible with police custody. The circumstances and motive of the crime are still unknown.
